The F U scrawled on my car’s hood
has gotten deeper
my teeth can hold anything
but a smile
They’ve stopped putting fortunes
in the cookies
I can’t afford the tax
on my buried treasure
According to most KPIs
I’m doing great
The study says plants
can form memories
I hope they remember me
as I mow them down
and let them grow
wild and hot again
